The assessment will help us determine the language ability of the learner and match it with the most suitable Language Coach and learning materials. The assessment is free and you can decide later whether to commit for the long term.
First week of the course will be [special discount] as a trial offer. We will inform you what the subsequent fees are, as they are dependent on the frequency and other circumstances specific to the learner.
Our courses will be charged based on the package chosen after the first-week trial. Currently we accept payments via PayMe, AlipayHK, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) as well as bank transfer (FPS or bank-in deposit). Feel free to contact us if you have other payment preference.
Sessions are prearranged in coordination between the language coach and the learner. If something comes up, a session can be rescheduled up to 7 days before it is due to take place. A small fee of HK$50 will be added to the bill.
In the event of an anticipated scheduling conflict, the learner should reschedule the session. No-show learners are not eligible for refunds to ensure our language coaches are paid fairly for their commitments.
If the session is unable to begin or ends prematurely due to reasons clearly out of the learner’s control, tell us about it and we will reschedule the session for the learner at no cost.
Our courses are all online, as learners will read and speak one-to-one with our native-speaking language coaches. All the reading and speaking sessions will be conducted on our learning platform, as each learner will have a personal account for easy progress tracking.
All you need is just a device with Internet connectivity (such as a smartphone or PC) and an earphone with a mic. All materials will be provided on our learning platform
English learning takes practice and learners can choose their own pace with our personalised course. But if the learner really has to drop out, please
contact us to discuss your situation.
Additional sessions can be arranged for more frequent practices, depending on the language coach’s availability. Interactions between the learner and the language coach have to stay on our learning platform to uphold integrity of the learning environment.
Yes, but the learner should provide the materials well in advance to enable our language coach to familiarise with the topic and get prepared ahead of each session.
Our course is highly personalised with plenty of flexibility on the scheduling. You can first sign up for our special one-week trial offer to find out whether and how the course would suit the learner.
We will assign the most suitable language coach based on the assessment. Some of our coaches specialise in early years (young learners), while others are well-versed in pre-university exam practices.
Reading sessions can be done at the learners’ own pace and choice of time on the agreed dates. A live speaking session conducted with a language coach will last 20 minutes for one part. For more intensive learning, extended time can be book in advance.
Our courses are recurring. Frequency of the reading and speaking sessions are adjustable based on the learner's preference and needs. For instance, learners gearing up for pre-university may ask for intensive speaking drills towards their final exams. For young learners, they may want to progress at a steady pace. We can cater to different needs with many different types of materials.
Each category (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) features articles ranging from 1-star to 4-star difficulty. After assessing the student's level, an appropriate category and difficulty level will be assigned.
